Murdering Fascist: Part 2

[We catch up with San and Darian involved in a heated debate over whether President Bush is a fascist or not. San has just stated that all Presidents abuse their power, while Darian tries to equate Presidential abuses to Fascism.]

San: That is why checks and balances were developed.

San: Look at constitutional history in America. There are periods in time where Presidents have been weak and there are periods in time where Presidents have been strong.

Darian: That is a pretty short history you are looking at.

Darian: Let's look at the history of Rome. S

an: Rome does not matter. Rome is dead.

Darian: How did it die?

San: Rome is not the point here.

Darian: Cause of death?

Darian: Fascist rulers who abused power and stretched their military until it broke.

San: Over reaching its boundaries, spreading the empire thin, and leaving the capital un-protected.

Darian: And our military is where?

San: The thing about Rome was that it was invaded. That was key to its downfall.

San: No nation in history has ever been unable to conquer another without 'boots on the ground'.

San: Look at where the United States is on the map.

San: Yes, it can be said that someone will use a nuclear bomb against the United States, but only a mad man would do such a thing. But, most mad men are smart enough to realize that the destruction of the world is not advantageous.

Darian: Yes, boots on the ground. Boots in many cases already in the country illegally.

San: Yes, the immigrants will rise up and conquer this nation.

San: Not likely.

Darian: A terrorist cell could.
